Permit requirements vary by township or city. According to the Fayette County site, you will need a permit for certain hardscaping features, including patios and retaining walls that are above 4 feet or are supporting additional load (or surcharge).
It’s best to contact your local building or zoning office before starting a project to verify if a permit is required.
It depends on the project; bigger hardscape installations, like a retaining wall, can take between one to two weeks to finish.
Smaller projects can take a few days to a week to complete.
Hardscaping should not destroy your existing landscaping or hardscaping features. During your consultation, we carefully plan the layout and take extra care to respect your property.
Some disturbance is required when we need to move soil, but we’ll discuss our process with you, and we always clean and restore your yard when the job is complete.
Hardscaping by itself doesn’t resolve yard drainage problems, though it can support proper water flow when done by our professionals.
We also offer drainage services that will correct any drainage problems in your yard.
In many cases, yes. We’ll take a look at your current hardscape features, and if we can’t match them exactly, we’ll help you choose another option to complement what you currently have.
